The Membrane Separator is the core upgrading module within ABA’s biomethane solutions, designed to efficiently separate CO₂ from biogas to produce biomethane suitable for compression, grid injection, or liquefaction.

ABA’s membrane upgrading systems are engineered around high-performance membrane cartridges sourced from established global membrane specialists, ensuring proven separation efficiency, long service life, and consistent gas quality. These cartridges are integrated into a fully engineered, skid-mounted system designed and delivered by ABA.

The membrane separator operates on a modular, multi-stage configuration, allowing the system to be optimized for methane purity, recovery, and energy efficiency based on project-specific requirements. Its compact footprint and continuous operation make it particularly well suited for decentralized biogas plants and scalable biomethane facilities.
